These pieces fall into a time where I was finding my next direction. I explored the color reduction process, which still totally fascinates me. This process involves removing a bit of the block every time you print another color, making the prints rarer, due to the fact that one cannot go back & print more. Also during this time, I revisited the chine colle process. This involves adhering paper between the print and the base paper. I enjoy finding interesting ways to incorporate this process into my work.
